How to get rid of a blinking black cursor box on your PC

Accessibility OptionsDo you have a blinking black cursor box where you usually just have a blinking line? Did this just show up out of nowhere? Pretty annoying, isn’t it?

Well, luckily this is an easy fix.

All you have to do is the following:

  1. Go to START>CONTROL PANEL
  2. Double-click on ACCESSIBILITY OPTIONS
  3. Click on the DISPLAY tab
  4. Under CURSOR OPTIONS, move the bar under WIDTH all the way to the “Narrow” side.
  5. Click OK
  6. Close the CONTROL PANEL window by clicking the red X in the upper right corner of the window
  7. Done!

Yup! It’s that easy.
