Want 50GB of FREE online storage for your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch?

Do you ever wish you had more storage capacity on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch? Then you’re in luck!

Box.com just released a new version of its mobile app for iOS, and they are offering 50GB of free online storage if you download it.

Pretty sweet, huh?

And if you already have the app installed, then just log out and log in again, update the app if you don’t have the latest version, and your account will be upgraded to 50GB!

But you need to do it before February 15, 2013, because that’s when the promo ends.

Just so you know, if you already have a box.com account, this upgrade is not cumulative. So if you have, say, a 25GB account, after you update the app and log in again, you will have 50GB of space total.

And if you already have a 50GB account like me, then this promo won’t add any storage to your account. But it might motivate you to update the app.

I love what they did with the update.

I use the box app all the time, mainly for ebooks since I read so much. The update they did for viewing PDFs is beautiful. I also use it to share files a lot with my friends.

Overall, the new app is pretty slick and has some great new features.

Here’s the full list:

  • Completely re-written app
  • New navigation and redesigned UI
  • New preview experience for documents, photos and videos
  • Faster document rendering and photo loading
  • Real-time search (for files and within files)
  • Better sharing and controls
  • AirPrint, Bookmarks, and savings videos from Box to your library coming in future releases

So go and download it now, while you’re thinking of it. You’ll thank me later.
